There are only seven planets in our solar system.
Inevitable over taxation of natural resources at current populous increase makes the search for habitable Planet an absolute imperative. For our survival the most feasible course is to move planet Venus to the habitable zone just inside Earth’s orbit with mercury as its moon. Planet Venus needs only the most abundant element, Hydrogen added to its atmosphere. Current technology could be used to move planet Venus with Mercury to the habitable zone. Once in the habitable zone the acid rains begin, a combination of sulfuric acid mixed with carbon dioxide eroding the surface facilitating carbon to solidify and the release of oxygen to recombine with Hydrogen, creating vast oceans. The remaining unfavorable elements would then freeze at the poles and it would take only one hundred years for the terraforming of Venus with genetically adapted Cyanobacteria.
It is not a question of if we will do this, it’s the when we will do this that is yet to be decided.
